This theme will address the global phosphorus cycle, the issues of P sustainability and security as well as geopolitical issues.

Theme 2. Phosphorus in our resources
This theme will address the issues related to phosphorus resources, mining and processing of phosphate ores to produce P products.

Theme 3. Phosphorus in our fields
This theme will address the issues related to phosphorus efficiency in agriculture and environmental safety of P use in agriculture.

Theme 4. Phosphorus in our plates
This theme will address the issues related to phosphorus efficiency in the foodchain, and the relations between P and animal or human nutrition and health. 

Theme 5. Phosphorus in our wastes
This theme will address the issues related to phosphorus recycling to minimize P loss along the whole production/consumption chain, and how to better close the loop locally.
